READY™International Shipment Readiness

The Challenge

Global shipment processing was inconsistent, with teams relying on local knowledge, assumptions, and fragmented guidance.

This led to:

  • Incorrect clearance decisions

  • Missing or poor-quality documentation

  • Delays at customs and increased risk

Teams needed a clear, scalable way to assess shipment readiness, regardless of region, commodity, or experience level.

My Approach

  • Designed the READY™ framework to simplify complex international shipping decisions

  • Introduced risk-based thinking using commodity and clearance logic (via Jetstream data)

  • Structured learning around real shipment scenarios, not theory

  • Built content in Articulate Rise 360 for fast, accessible global rollout

  • Created Ready Eddie, a guiding persona to reinforce behaviours and consistency

  • Integrated learning with live systems and tools (TMS Ready Survey + SharePoint country guidance)

  • Focused on decision-making, not just knowledge

What I Delivered

  • End-to-end learning design and framework creation

  • Full READY™ learning architecture (aligned to shipment lifecycle)

  • Scriptwriting for video, scenarios, and microlearning

  • Interactive Rise modules with embedded Storyline simulations

  • Practical tools:

  • Checklists

  • Country guidance integration

  • Decision support flows

  • Behaviour-led learning aligned to real operational tasks

Impact

  • Improved consistency in OKTS (Okay to Send) decisions globally

  • Reduced reliance on guesswork and local interpretation

  • Increased confidence in handling complex and regulated shipments

  • Clear shift from “following steps” to “making informed decisions”

  • Better alignment between systems (Jetstream/TMS) and user actions
